It was exactly what we were looking for! No beeping machines, no nurses bent over giant books always writing. Instead, there were friendly and loving helpers that made my mom feel like she was in her own home. She stayed there until the very end, and I will never be able to thank them enough for the love they showed her. My dad visited every day, and they always welcomed him, too. My mom was happy there, which was an amazing thing, too, since she was overcome with dementia and too hard for us to take care of her.
